Started writing this all the way back in April of 2021. Demo'd it out and then proceeded to forget about it for a couple years (still would intermittently write little passages of lyrics for different sections of the song over this time, though). However, the main riff just kept popping back in my head, and I loved the chorus, so I decided to finally finish this track for the album. For a long time, I didn't know how to end the song, but when I was away seeing family, the idea for the outro came to me and helped solidify that this song was worth finishing.
